Central Focus Psychological Group offers a doctoral psychology internship in Colorado and a postdoctoral training program focused on neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis, consultation, and clinical supervision within a private practice setting. Designed for emerging psychologists seeking advanced clinical training, the program provides hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of psychological, neuropsychological, and developmental concerns.
Trainees participate in a structured 12-month program that includes 15 to 20 hours of direct client contact per week, along with supervision, case consultation, report writing, and professional development opportunities. The program follows a 40-hour workweek, begins in early August, and provides a total of 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience, as well as allowances for holidays, vacation time, and sick leave.
Admission Requirements for the Doctoral Psychology Internship Program
Applicants to the doctoral psychology internship program must meet the following requirements:

- Good standing within their academic program
- No legal or professional issues that would prevent licensure or the practice of psychology in Colorado

Eligibility Requirements for Postdoctoral Training
Applicants seeking postdoctoral training must meet the following requirements:

- Successful completion of all doctoral degree requirements from a regionally accredited institution or an APA/CPA-accredited program with a conferred doctoral degree
- Eligibility to obtain a Psychologist Candidate (PSYC) temporary permit through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies

- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
