Through his work as President of the Gold Camp District Impact Group, Dr. Pickett was instrumental in commissioning world famous Danish artist Thomas Dambot to create “Rita the Rock Planter ” in Victor, CO. This project has been a major success, having rejuvenated the community and provided a spark to the local economy.
